

Personal Relationships
Personal relationships accumulate when you are using interpersonal skills. Taking a course in Interpersonal Communication with Dr. Darrin Griffin educated me a lot about personal relationships. For example, positive vibrations that result from companionship and social respect. To be more direct, the relationship between family and friends are more of a personal relationship.
Some tend to confuse personal relationships with work relationships, but there is a huge difference. The difference is the level of intimacy and formality. Personal is informal, while work relationships are formal. I’ve had the opportunity to develop both personal and professional relationships while at the University of Alabama and practiced varying styles of communication in different settings.
Commonly, positive vibrations as a companion employ personal relationships. No matter how one may view personal relationships, workplace relationships are professional and should use of more formal communication.
